A fairy tale adventure about a beautiful young woman and her one true love. He must find her after a long separation and save her. They must battle the evils of the mythical kingdom of Florin to be reunited with each other. Based on the William Goldman novel “The Princess Bride” which earned its own loyal audience.

Musical Guest: Ruby Force
Ruby Force is the melodic brainchild of singer and songwriter Erin McLaughlin. Her music offers, as Rolling Stone touted, “a promising glimpse of the direction in which left-of-center country music is headed”. Evolutionary War, her debut record showcases McLaughlin’s voice and gravitas as a writer while an All-Star cast of musoids™ (Richard Swift, Eli Thomson, Sean Watkins, Frank Lenz and more) come correct as nothing less than a Force with which to be reckoned.

ENTRANCE: Enter on Chandler Blvd just west of Tujunga. This is the ONLY entrance.
SEATING/CHAIRS: This location is a sprawling, grassy baseball field. Pillows, cushions and blankets are preferred, though low chairs with low backs are allowed. If you have a tall chair (like a lawn chair or camping style chair more than 6 inches off the ground) you will be required to sit outside the center of the venue, which is marked with signs on both the left & right side of the venue. There is ample room for chairs, so please don’t block the view of the person(s) behind you.
PARKING: There is on street parking (both free and metered) and parking in a few different Recreation Center lots. There is a pay lot on Lankershim behind the Laemmle Theatre and a surface parking lot behind the Federal Bar as well as the Metro parking lot.
METRO/PUBLIC TRANSPORT: You can also take the Metro Red Line to North Hollywood Station.
