Eat|See|Hear Outdoor Movie: Mrs. Doubtfire
August 17 @ 5:30 pm - 11:30 pm
“Look at this! My first day as a woman and I’m getting hot flashes.”
Troubled that he has little access to his children, divorced Daniel Hillard (Robin Williams) hatches an elaborate plan. With help from his creative brother Frank (Harvey Fierstein), he dresses as an older British woman and convinces his ex-wife, Miranda (Sally Field), to hire him as a nanny. “Mrs. Doubtfire” wins over the children and helps Daniel become a better parent — but when both Daniel and his nanny persona must meet different parties at the same restaurant, his secrets may be exposed..
TIME: Doors 5:30, Music 7:00, Movie 8:30
MUSICAL GUEST: Glory Daze
Glory Daze is the moniker of Los Angeles born artist Lea (pronounced LEE) Beiley. Lea’s relatable self awareness and charisma on stage gives her a gift for winning over audiences and garnering new fans from any crowd of strangers. Through songs that are as observant as they are introspective, Lea approaches the universal joys and aches of being human with both precision and delicacy. There is a nostalgic familiarity in the way she weaves words through a melody, skillfully describing experiences you’ve had in ways you couldn’t quite articulate before. Between her charming wordplay and sleek, smokey tone, Lea is the type of vocalist that can stun a talkative room. With her understanding of music and the candor it can bring, Lea guides you through a journey that makes you feel as if you’re finding a page from someone’s private journal. With experience under her belt now and an arsenal of singles slated for release in 2019, Glory Daze is steadily proving she’s an artist to be reckoned with.
