Teton Gravity Research is heading back to the beach for a FREE showing of their new ski and snowboard film, Tight Loose. Join us on Friday, October 28 to see Tight Loose on the huge screen – there will be a ton of prize giveaways (skis, jackets and more), plus everyone in attendance will get a FREE lift ticket to Crested Butte Mountain Resort (some restrictions apply). DJ ManCat will be on hand before the movie to get the party started, so come out early and get ready for winter with TGR on the Pier. Let them know that you are coming out by signing up at: www.tetongravity.com/win (choose the Santa Monica show). This also makes you eligible for all of the prize giveaways at the show, and for TGR’s overall tour prizes.
This event is brought to you by Crested Butte, CO.

Santa Monica Pier
WHERE:Santa Monica Pier
PRO TIP: There are a limited amount of old timey lawn chairs available to rent for $5. Get their early so you don’t have to schlep your own chair, otherwise bring your own low chair & blanket.
DOGS: Yes! This event is dog-friendly! Friendly, leashed dogs are always welcomed.
TIME: Doors 6, Movie 7:30
ENTRANCE: Adjacent to the parking lot entrance on the Pier and adjacent to the Pier police station.
SEATING/CHAIRS: This location is a sprawling, wooden deck. It’s a Pier. Made up of a lot of wooden planks. You will definitely want something soft to sit on. Or a low chair. Pillows and cushions are great, too and you’ll want a blanket because it tends to get a bit chilly in the evening.
There is parking on the Pier deck, accessible via the ramp at Ocean and Colorado. There are also two lower lots accessible via Appian Way. Click here for a map and click here for all the seasonal rates and hours.
Want to make this even easier? We recommend reserving a discounted parking spot in advance here.
DIRECTIONS: Go west. If your shoes are wet, you’ve gone too far. The ramp at the intersection of Ocean and Colorado is your most direct route by car, bike or foot. If you know where you’re coming from, click here to map your route.
